Hi Allan these big European Dasiops species you mention both have partly pale tarsomeres so I dont think your specimen fits. It may be that you are confusing the anterior setae on the mesopleura with poststigmatical setae - they can be difficult if you are not familiar with Lonvhaeidae. Is it possible for you to send me the specimen?? Iain MacGowan |
