Is this a male Lucilia sp. (possibly L. caesar)? Seen in a commercial strawberry field in Kent, UK on 11/05/2021. Any help with ID would be much appreciated.

Hi Dylan, from that angle it's not clearly to see but I think the basicosta is dark and the eyes are very narrowly separated. If so: L. caesar.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
