Empis tesselata (not an Asilidae) - Germany - Black Forest

Please help me with the ID. Habitat is in the Kinzig-valley at the embankment of the river Kinzig. Pictures are taken from 3 indivdua, May 12th.

Hi Felix, this is not one of the Asilidae but of the Empididae: I think it's a male Empis tesselata and on the first image left is a female. Greetings, Eric |
