I am not sure. Wing venation suggests Blondeliini, antennal tip Acemyiini ??? But might be a trick of the picture. Number of scutellar bristles difficult to assess....

I checked it again and I am starting to believe this might very be Acemyia: try arista barem 3 post DC, vein M with ovtuse angle and tergites lacking discals and depression in syntergite 1&2 (almost) complete in tachinidae.eu ....

The large number of median marginals on tergite 3 should limit the possibilities.

If Acemya, than possibly A. acuticornis, as pyrrhocera is a South-Western species, and rufitibia should possibly have reddish tibia, if the name is worth anything. Indeed this fly has a pointed end to the antenna, but this may be the hallmark of the entire genus.

FE lists this as Acemya, rather than Acemyia.

Well, as explained threads before, it is my strong believe that the purpose of science is to correct mistakes and not cultivate them, so indeed I do correct Rondani's (and other's) obvious misspellings.
I know this is forbidden by the taxonomic police, so fine me.
