I think this is a typical Pipunculidae, the only fly I ever observed of this family. It is a pity that I could not get a decent shot at this tiny but nevertheless very intersting fly/. A Pipunculus sp? ![]() |

With the shiny mesonotum I would go for a species in the Cephalops genera complex. Most of it used to be Cephalops but it has been overhauled completely and I am not up to date with the characters to separate the different genera anymore.
