Pupae
Jan_H
Hi,
Do I assume correctly that the pupae belong to two different species? I mean if the short siphon couldn't be just broken.

Further, can the siphon be used for breathing in the other environment than water? These pupae were found in a bird nest in a cavity, in a very decomposed layer resembling soil. We know, that sometimes the cavities may be filled with rain water. Could the finding of this species be taken as a proof of water presence in the past?
