Stegana cf. mehadiae

Ca. 5 mms, on the bark of a fallen dead beech ruin. Vemmtofte Kloster, S Zealand, Denmark, 13 July 2021.

Stegana sp. Drosophilidae

With 5 mm length it should be S mehadiae. It is bound to old beeches.

So far, only Stegana coleoptrata, furta, hypoleuca and similis have been recorded in Denmark. S. mehadiae would be new to our country.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
