Chrysopilus laetus?

Hi,

I took a picture of this orange fly in our garden at the hedge, where it was sitting on a leaf. Based on some pictures in the web (e.g. https://diptera.i...o_id=10659 ) I would speculate that it could be Chrysopilus laetus. Is it possible to confirm or reject that speculation based on the picture below?

Germany, Southern Bavaria, Munich (-West), 01.08.2021, app. 8-10 mm

Yes, that is correct.
You can see the wing tip is darkened as well. According to the literature, this would indicate Ch. pullus, but some /many laetus have this feature.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
