 Muscid for ID - Lispe?

This fly is one of several taken on 21 August 2021 in Bedfordshire, UK. I think it keys to Lispe nana, but there are no records for that species nearby. UK records suggest it is mostly a coastal species? Bedfordshire is about as far from the coast as you can get in the UK. Swept from thin vegetation on shingle 'island' in almost dried up lake. Have I got the correct ID please? |
