Grey greenish fly for determination
Volker
Hello,

this fly was sitting on a raspberry leaf in my garden. Is it possible to determine the species from the photo?

Germany, Saarland, Bexbach, Garden, Absolute Altitude 250 m, 30.08.2021

pd is postero dorsal seta. cant really see it on the picture.
the legs look to dark to be depunca, but maybe its variabel.
does it have 3 postsutural dorsocentrals and does it have katepisternals 1+2 ?

it looks like 3 postsutural dorsocentrals and it also looks like 1+2 katepisternals, so it could be depuncta as mentioned above. but picture is not so clear so im not 100% sure

Hi Svavar,

ok, many thanks for your effort. Based on these pictures, there will certainly not be one hundred percent certainty.
