Hello, Hoping to get an ID on this please? Photo attached. Could it be Machimus cingulatus? Found a couple of weeks ago Guernsey, Channel Islands. In coastal scrubland habitat. Cheers, Al |

Hi Al, I think Machimus (Tolmerus) cingulatus is correct. Resembling is M. cowini and difficult to distinguish but as we can see the posterior yellow stripe on forefemur it is most probably cingulatus.
