It's a Meromyza, but I don't think it's possible to be sure of the species from these photos.

According to L.R.Rockwood, S.Zimmermann et T.R.Chamberlin, 1947, sited and shown in

it should at least not be M. saltatrix but rather M. pratorum.
I don't know how many other Meromyza look similar so I will write Meromyza species.

Chloropidae; Chloropinae: Meromyza femorata Macquart, 1835. In the upper picture the typical black tip of the palpus can be seen. As well the strongly swollen hind femur being 4 times thicker than the hind tibia is a reliable feature of this common species. Dactylis glomerata ist the only confirmed host grass. Junior synonyms are M. laeta Meigen, 1838 and M. rufescens von Roser, 1840.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
