Hi, I took a picture of a medium-sized fly on ivy blossoms at a birch tree in our garden. The spines at the end of the abdomen seems to suggest that this could be a Tachinidae. Tibiae look dark, as does the humerus and I don’t see any red on abdominal tip. Difficult to be sure, but L. tessellans seems more likely to me. Theo |
