Hello,
is a species identification possible here? Size estimated 10 mm, photographed on 08/24/21 in Germany, Northern Bavaria, on the wall of the house.

Sarcophaga. sp, most likely needs genitalia. I assume this is a large species. If it has black genitalia, iti is likely to be Sarcophaga (Sarcophaga) sp.

many thanks for your answer. Yes, it was a large species, but i don“t know the colour of genitalia. I have no more photos.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
