Hello, I photographed this fly on Monte Etra (AQ), Italy, 1800m a.s.l. on August 22nd 2021. I think it is a Cylindromyia, but is it possible to identify its species from these photos? Thank you in advance, Emanuele Edited by ESant on 30-10-2021 19:35 |

Thank you, Theo! The wing venation is peculiar indeed, because of it I didn't even consider the genus Cylindromyia when I first looked at the pictures. |
