Hello,

this black fly on Heracleum on a meadow (northwest Germany) measured only 3.5 mm. Maybe Melanomya nana?

Looks good for Melanomya nana. Pic# 3 shows the 2 postsutural intra-alar and between them the strong prealar, pic# 2 minimum 1 ac pre.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
