Диагностических признаков я разгялядеть не смог, но проще опереться на размеры тела: если больше медоносной пчелы, то Tachytes (вероятно, Tachytes panzeri), если мельче - то Tachysphex (их много похожих).

I couldn’t make out the diagnostic signs, but it’s easier to rely on the size of the body: if there is more than a honey bee, then Tachytes (probably Tachytes panzeri), if smaller, then Tachysphex (there are many similar ones).

Дякую, на жаль, фото ще з 2017 року, тому в пам'яті розміри не збереглися, але, якщо судити з розмірів квітів золотарника (Solidago), то цей екземпляр має бути більшим від бджоли. Які ознаки є діагностичними ?

Thank you, unfortunately, the photo is from 2017, so the size is not preserved in my memory, but judging by the size of the flowers of goldenrod (Solidago), this specimen should be larger than a bee. What are the diagnostic signs?

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
