Empis. Hybotidae do not have long beaks. |

Actually, Empis do have a long proboscis but should have a fork on R4+5. The absence of the fork and the presence of the long proboscis thus would indicate Aclonempis, once a subgenus of Rhamphomyia (generally with a shorter proboscis) but now sometimes considered a subgenus of Empis.
