Hi, I think, this fly could be a Lonchaeidae. I found it on a hazelnut leaf on April 11 2022. I think it was around 4 mm. Greetings Chris Edited by Cortmeyer on 16-04-2022 08:45 |

Yes Lonchaeidae - looks like one of the early spring Lonchaea species with hairy eyes perhaps L. nitens ..... Iain
