Visiting flowers, especially wild carrot, in our garden in Mechernich-Satzvey (Germany) on the edge of the Eifel, on 24 September 2021. Cylindromyia bicolor? Is it possible to determine the sex on the basis of these photos? I’m grateful for your comments! Image 1 |

Hi Hans Theo, bicolor is correct and it's a boy with big feet (large pulvilli).
