Don't think it's Dolichocephala - the head is attached in the wrong place (almost at the vertex in Dolichocephala). Having said that, trying to resolve the large mouthparts with the wing venation and leg morphology leaves me a bit puzzled...

This fly belongs to Brachystomatidae, not Clinocerinae of Empididae. More precisely: Pseudheleodromia Wagner, with single described species (P. helvetica) from Switzerland. Pseudheleodromia is identical with Heleodromia, except forked R4+5. Best wishes, Igor Shamshev |
