Location: Germany, Northrhine-Westphalia, Rheine, 35 m above sea level, garden Time: 3rd of May, 2022 Photos: Markus Koschinsky Body size: approx. 5 mm Dear Forum, I have difficulties with this gnat... First, from overall habit, I thouhgt about Chironomidae, female... but when I checked the wing pattern, I found a split M-vein, which doesn't fit. But what else? Who can help?
