Location: Germany, Northrhine-Westphalia, Rheine, 35 m above sea level, garden Time: 11th of May, 2022 Photos: Markus Koschinsky Body size: approx. 2 mm Dear Forum, I found these 2 gnats at the inside of our window. I believe they're the same species, although one exemplar was more greenish than the other. Both of them were generally quite hairy (wings, antennae, legs...), and both had extremely long fore-legs (while both had one side, seemingly, broken off), which they didn't use for walking, they simply held them at the front while walking with the other 4 legs. Any option to get the right ID? Thanks, Markus Edited by Markus Koschinsky on 14-05-2022 09:35 |
