Rhamphomyia cf. nigripennis

Unfortunately only this very poor image.
Seen flying in a fairly dense dark hedge, next to a stream, in an area where there were comparatively many other insects. It looked a bit like a small black mosquito. Estimated size 4-5mm.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
