June, Vienna/Austria. The holes are possibly from Crabronid wasps

That looks good - but according to Wang X-N, Sheng M-L, Schwarz M (2019) there 14 species from the genus known for the Western Palaearctic, so I am not sure how well there different species can be separated Cheers, Lorin Font Color All requests are from the urban area of Vienna, if not otherwise stated.
