Thanks, Ben! However, could it be T. separata? e.g. https://diptera.i...o_id=10663 It looks like the 4th clear patch on the inner side (counting from the apex) is separated into three circles. Also, the separated clear circle in the center of the black region looks much larger on images of T. divisa. |

According to Merz (1994) Tephritis separata nearly always has three hyaline spots in R1, your fly has two. The position of the hyaline spot in R2+3 seems to be more distal than usual in T. divisa, but I still would favour Tephritis divisa in this case. Ben |
