Aedes sp. cf. A. cantans
Ray Perry
Which mosquito is biting me? Only one image because it started hurting.
Large, +1cm incl. wings.
14 June 2022 @ 17.23
In a, wind-protected, shaded place, next to a stream, whilst photographing by a bushy hedge.
Flensburg, N.Germany at 54.755759 N, 9.422069 E

Many Thanks
Ray

Moin Ray, not too much to see but we could guess it's more A. cantans than annulipes:
tars 5 without white band on foreleg (for both)
the colour seems to be colder while annulipes is more yellowish brown.
Hint (from my experience): the real pain starts some time after the bite - simply conquer your weaker self and use some heat after the midge left Wink

Many Thanks.
I have a fantastic gadget to apply the heat - called "Bite Away"
