Fairly sure this is Chironominae, maybe even Stenochironomus, possibly colei? Found several of these on a block wall in a cemetery in Vancouver , Washington, USA. Elevation about 100’. June 27, 2022. They were found during the first set of 90⁰(F) days we’ve had this year.

There aren't supposed to be any species with that color pattern in the Pacific Northwest. Possibly a teneral Stenochironomus colei where the legs have not developed dark bands. |
