Hi, About 10 days ago I photographed some tiny Ephydrids drinking in water-filled ruts in a forest. Unfortunately, my camera could not deliver better quality. Could it be Parydra? The location is southwestern Germany, about 25 km west of Stuttgart. Any information is welcome! Many thanks, Sundew |

Comment by Tony Irwin: "The pictures are certainly Parydra, possibly hecate, but It's difficult to be certain without a specimen." Many thanks to him! |
