Chrysosomopsis aurata
Morten A Mjelde
Found on a lush hillside in Telemark, Norway on July 16. With yellow palps, there are no other possibilities, are there?

I just read here https://diptera.i...d_id=96798 that Theo has splitted the originally single species, so he should probably know which of them is to be expected in Norway.

Zeegers
Guilty as charged, sorry for that, but it was a nice discovery.
Differerences onky in male genitalia, this is a female.

That said, in Norway only aurata is to be expected. So till further notice .....

Thank you very much, Sunbeam! And thank you very much Theo for your answer and for splitting this species into two species! Smile (Because originally there were two species). What is the name of species no. 2?

I suppose it's in this paper: https://www.resea..._mountians Wink
And "Sunbeam" is a very nice variation of my avatar name, BTW.
