Hi, I found this fly in a mixed forest. Is ID possible? I guess Thereva nobilitata. Greetings, Marion Germany, Saxony, ca. 350 m, 28.07.2022. Edited by Marion Friedrich on 01-08-2022 19:22 |

Hi! it's not nobilitata.. black halter knobs, broad calli high on the head, two dc... To know identity you will have to collect (or a very good picture of the setae on legs), but it's close to handlirschi/inornata. Thereva on pictures :-) always fun and the internet is devoid of erroneous identifications... see you |

Hi, thank you very much for answer and correction. I looked again for the pictures. Unfortunately, the setae on the femora are hidden. Greetings Marion |
