Chaoborus sp. ?
bobabar
Hi there !

It must be a male Chaoboridae > Chaoborinae > Chaoborus sp.

These beasts strangely take on the lighting: on other photos we hardly see the white band at all, on others the beast seems semi-transparent (difficult to distinguish it).
Yet on these 2 shots, I was surprised to see this clear white line on the side of the thorax. Not the impression that it is reflections on a sleeping bag. It is the same specimen on the 2 images.

On the first photo, we see a clear lateral band on the thorax like Chaoborus flavicans, on the second we see the lateral piece of a thoracic segment white like Chaoborus pallidus.

Have a good day,
Fabrice "Bobabar" (on "Le Monde Des Insectes" forum), Cergy, near Paris, France

This is one of the species of subgenus Chaoborus which I can't tell apart (flavicans and I think you have two others). It is not C. pallidus, which has spots on wings and legs.
