Yes, the fourth possibility (S. ustulata) seems me now the most probable. S. u. has mesonotal suture incomplete but laterally deep; the pictures can be interpreted accordingly. |

Some more details at https://micropezi...my/term/55 and Krivosheina's 1982 key is at https://micropezi...fo/node/85 I'm intrigued by the knowledge that it is already known from Spain, research has the Spanish checklist for the group at https://micropezi.../322#Spain and it's not on the Spanish photo site (Invertebrados InsectariumVirtual at https://www.biodi...26409.html) I'd be very grateful for that 1992 reference to help put the record straight. They don't turn up very often in Europe, the last one was at https://www.inatu.../131629646 that one will finish up on GBIF so if you could see your way to also adding your photos to iNaturalist that would be a great help because it's a geographical outlier. |

This is the place, a shadow stream with a torrent river, wich i have visit four, five times during last two years because it is very hot nowdays and i prefer to go to coldest places. At a very few small distance I have found very interesting flies, for example, apart from this one: Possible Xanthochlorus, could be new subfamily Xanthochlorinae for Spain (https://diptera.i..._id=107458 Possible new species for Spain: Xylota jakutorum, with reserves (https://diptera.i..._id=107394) Medina collaris, a rare tachinid in Spain with no photos (https://diptera.i..._id=107350) Sciara hemerobioides, rare at least for me (https://diptera.i..._id=102785, and others sciaridae not posted... Palloptera ambusta, both years, I would say it is a new fly for Spain (https://diptera.i..._id=102765) Ocydromia cf glabricula, a rare species in Spain (https://diptera.i..._id=102767) Tanypeza longimana, vey rare species in Spain (https://diptera.i..._id=102685) Also Hybotidae... (https://diptera.i..._id=102687), rare for me... Hybos femoratus, first time for me, rare (https://diptera.i..._id=102495 Blepharicera fasciata, rare, https://www.biodi...09681.html Paraclusia tigrina, in the same river, 10 minutes from this place, very rare in Spain, first photos (https://diptera.i..._id=107332 etc... so you know, go down to the stream! Note: canyoning in this river has incremented a lot, for me it is a problem because other rivers are out "of order" because are dry and this one is "on fashion".
