Thank you very much John, I didn't know this family and therefore not this genre. I have seen it on a Pistacia terebinthus. If it is a female, perhaps it came to lay eggs in one of the many galls of Aploneura (Aphididae)? I read that Leucopis larvae feed on aphids. Aphids are common prey. Some species eat other Sternorrhyncha. |
