Clitheroe Lancashire 14 Sept. After some puzzling I arrived at Linnaemya, perhaps L. picta female. Am I anywhere near? Edited by Stephen R on 15-09-2022 14:06 |

Hi Stephen, I'm quite sure, you are right with female Linnaemya picta - based on the T&H key.
Greetings, Eric Kloeckner |

Many thanks Eric. Looks as if it's establishing itself well in NW England: https://www.northwestinvertebrates.org.uk/linnaemya-picta-a-new-tachinid-fly-for-the-northwest-of-england/ Edited by Stephen R on 15-09-2022 14:10 |
