Tetanocera can be identified to species level?

On a Rubus leaf. Body length ca. 8 mm. Spain: Girona, 2.x.2022

[Séguy 1934]
Des chètules propleuraux plus ou moins nombreux. [?]
Espace interoculaire luisant [au moins] au bord antérieur.
Antennes: troisième article deux fois plus long que le deuxième.
Espace interoculaire luisant sur la plus grande partie.
Ailes claires à la nervure costale étroitement ombrée au sommet sculement.
Occiput avec deux taches blanches séparées par une bande noire. [brown?]
Une ombre brune sur les gènes à la base des antennes.
Aile: bord costal nettement bruni à l'apex.
Antennes: troisième article pointu, plus do deux fois plus long que le deuxième.
Corps d'un brun roux.
Long.: 7-8 mm.

Well, I'm not sure if there are small bristles or not on the propleuron.

The other big question is if Seguy 1934 keys are still useful for european Tetanocera. The other keys I found are not free download.

And the last question is if genitalia is needed to get a species name.

If you read french, I suggest you use Vala 1989, really good book Wink And it cover your area.

For frons, better angle would be from front and a bit upward.
Frons doesn't look shiny to Me, I'd bet on T ferruginea.
You can exclude T hyallipennis anyway, costa is a bit darkned in this species.

Thanks, clovis! I bought Vala 1989, but difficult to use with not other references or pinned specimens. I take note on your suggestion.
