Hello, I photographed this fly near Alvi (TE), Italy, 800m a.s.l. on August 17th 2022. It looks like a Clusiidae to me, but I'm not totally sure about that. Is it possible to identify its genus or species from these photos? Thank you in advance, Emanuele Edited by ESant on 10-10-2022 11:20 |

That is a much better option, thank you very much! After comparing it with the photos in the gallery I think the best option is Palloptera ambusta. Is that the correct species or are there other options I'm not aware of? |
