Northern Germany, Schleswig-Holstein, Schenefeld near Hamburg, hedge with a drainage ditch between a playground and a field of a nursery school for trees, grown up with bushes like Corylus, Acer sp., Populus and other, 8th of June 2022, Outdoorphotos: kuv. I would say "Opomyza germinationis" but I am irritated by the black tip at the antenna ... Please help me to get the ID. Kuv Edited by kuv on 04-12-2022 13:30 |

If I see well: black stripe along terga/sterna border? In that case Opomyza petrei. Libor |

I'm not convinced. The abdomen in O. petrei is much more yellowish. See for example: https://diptera.i...to_id=5732 Edited by Jan Willem on 02-12-2022 14:01 Jan Willem van Zuijlen |

In doubtfull cases it's best to check the pro-episternum which is bare in Opomyza germinationis and has some hairs in O. petrei.
