Difficult to say from these angles.
Abdomen is very elongated and the fly looks small.
I am thinking Melanomyia (or Angioneura)

Fly is probably 3-4mm, which is smaller than the 5.5mm that Morinia doronici is listed. Angles & lighting are less than optimal but that is how it goes in nature sometimes. Thanks for your help.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
