Is it possible to determinate this characteristic wasp?
Photo 17. 6.07 in the South of Vienna in Lower Austria.

Probably Megaryhssa gigas. We have other photos on www.galerie.bembix.de

Hello
In FE Megaryhssa gigas is a synonym of Megarhyssa perlata (Christ, 1791)
I've found this pdf (in german) with a key of the Megaryhssa species

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
