Thanks! The only thing why I didn’t think that this is an Exorista, is the petiole of the r5 cell, in picture 2. I don’t know how it ended up in the Syrphidae forum. Edited by varganimrod on 08-01-2023 13:19 |

I think the pic is misleading, there is probably no petiole. Anyway, Chaetogena has bristles on more than half of the facial ridge, this one has not. The bristles you see are descending frontals. Theo |
