This fly was taken from a malaise trap residu from near Renkum, prov. Of Gelderland, the Netherlands, collected in September 2019 by Th. Heijerman. To me it looks like a tachinid. I tried to find the genus by using the multi-entry key by Cerretti et al., 2012. (http://www.tachinidae.eu/free/default_moschweb.aspx#). I ended up with 3 potential genera, of which one, Estheria, seems geographically feasible. I’m curious to learn if this is correct (and of course to learn the species name). Thanks, Ton nouja.. |
