Hovering in a spot of sun - is it a Fannia sp.?

A few of these flies were hovering in the garden in Jerusalem on 26 May 2020.
Caught in mid air - can they be identified?

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
