Hello, On flowering Solidago canadensis (Asteraceae) one meets a surprisingly big diversity of insects. Among the hymenopteres I photographed these two wasps I would dare to identify as Ancistrocerus nigricornis, male and female. Would you agree? The locality is the Baltic Island of Usedom in August. Any Ancistrocerus species. I cannot recognize it on species level. Regards, Christian |
