Hi All, I pictured this specimen in my garden on 2023-04-26. Measured on picture 13,8mm. I think it could be a Tachinidae but could not find it by myself. Can you help me, please ? Thank you for reading and or commenting ! Didier |

Hello Didier, I think this one is a male T. lurida: - frons ≥ 0.5 times width of eye - the red patches on side of the abdomen are distinct - antenna's flagellum 2 - 3 times as wide as the pedicel - tergite 5 without a small basal dusted band - scutellum's apicals are strong and crossed (hard to see from that angle) Greetings, Eric Kloeckner |
