Ukraine, Rivne region, on April 29.
Is it possible to say more than the genus Pollenia ?

Hi Victor, Pollenia is always difficult, but this male looks like P. amentaria:
basicosta black
abdomen with weak dusting
no medial stripe on thorax
5-6 pairs of marginal bristles on scutellum
frons wider than P. labialis
(from Blow flies, Olga Sivell, 2021)

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
