Hello, I photographed this fly in the Serengeti National Park, Tanzania, 1500m a.s.l. on February 18th 2023. I'm not even sure of the family it may belong to. That should be some "Calliphoridae" (which is not monophyletic, hence the " I am not into Afrotropical once. Pity we can't see the mouth parts, it just might be a very weird Bengalia. Theo |
