Is it possible to identify this fly by such foto? June 2023. Western region of Ukraine.

The genus Ibisia. The only central European species is I. marginata.

For me, there is no need to separate Ibisia from Atherix. It is an matter of opinion.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
