Ukraine, Rivne region, on June 4. I'm guessing it could be Hybomitra ciurea because the bases of the antennae look pink, but I don't see any orange tints on the fourth tergite... Edited by Gansucha on 13-06-2023 19:12 |

The extend of yellow spot on tergites is variable. This one is less typical, but should be OK. Please note that the current valid name is solstitialis (Meigen nec Lyneborg). I checked Meigen's type in Paris. Theo |
