Hello, South of France, June 12, 2023. Body length 4.5 mm. On Dorycnium (Lotus) pentaphyllum. Does the density of the hair on the legs, as well as the orange tarsi and knees, indicate the species? Thank you for your help. Edited by Liliane D on 14-06-2023 14:53 |

When I look at photos of Empis pennipes, I see completely black legs. Could the orange tarsi 2 and 3 point to another species? |
